Coogee House a Short Walk From the Beach, One Old Labrador

Bessie is our twelve-year-old Labrador and she is in her retirement. Her hips are stiff, so she needs short slow walks rather than anything ambitious, and she has a joint supplement in her breakfast every morning. She is entirely gentle, sleeps in front of the heater and asks for nothing more than company. She is the sort of dog who will follow you into every room and lie down again. The garden has a few established shrubs and a small vegetable patch that needs watering every second day. The Coogee to Bondi walk starts at the north end of the beach.
