About This Home
A solid four-bedroom brick home on a large block backing onto bushland at the Hornsby end of the upper north shore. Wood heater, a big kitchen, and a wide back verandah that catches the morning sun. and Gus are our two dogs. Tess is eight, a Border Collie who has never spent a night indoors and does not want to start, and Gus is a four-year-old Kelpie cross who would move onto the couch given half a chance. Both need a decent run daily, and the fire trails behind the house make that easy. The six hens need letting out in the morning and locking up at dusk without exception, because we do get foxes down out of the bush. The vegetable garden needs watering every second day. Hornsby station is a ten minute drive and the trains into the city are frequent.
