Toffee is our 2-year-old Syrian hamster (the golden caramel one) and Ruby is our 1-year-old Roborovski hamster (the small dwarf chestnut). They live in two separate well-ventilated cages on the dining sideboard. They simply need a refill of seed mix and fresh water each morning, plus a fresh sliver of cucumber or apple every other day. Both are healthy, well-handled and easy to care for.
