If you're looking for a genuine country escape with two easy-going cats, our Warragul cottage is exactly that. Set behind a classic post-and-rail fence on a generous leafy block, this charming white weatherboard home has real Gippsland character , high ceilings, warm timber joinery throughout and a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is beautifully fitted out in rich pine timber with a breakfast bar, slate tile floors and all the essentials for comfortable day-to-day living. The lounge is the heart of the home in winter , a large brick wood-burning fireplace, comfortable sofas and a big picture window looking out to the garden make this the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the hills and valleys of West Gippsland. Milly is our 6-year-old tortoiseshell who is independent but loves a good chin scratch in the evenings. Sam is our 8-year-old tabby , a very settled, gentle old boy who mostly sleeps and eats. Both cats are indoor/outdoor, fully vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. They eat dry food once a day with occasional wet food. Warragul is the hub of the beautiful West Gippsland region , excellent cafes and restaurants on the main street, the stunning Baw Baw ranges, Thomson Reservoir and the famous Gippsland food trail all within easy reach.
